Last week we did an event with
Ridgewell's Catering at
The National Portrait Gallery. That particular day, it had been raining non stop the whole day and was becoming chilly. I arrived on site about an hour before the event was planned to start. I lucked out and got a parking space right in front of the Gallery, woo-hoo!! As I walked in and easily found my way to the Kogod Courtyard, it seemed as if I was walking into a spring garden! It was breathtaking! The courtyard is filled with live trees and plants with a glass canopy above. I completely forgot how nasty it was outside until I had to leave.
It truly is one of the most magnificent and unique spaces here in Washington, DC! I highly recommend it for any type of event! Here are a few pictures...Enjoy!
